‘Watching her speak about Jesus and what he has done for her is so refreshing. She is not apologetic, or embarrassed about naming Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Instead she simply appears grateful for what he has done in her life,’ says Woman Alive deputy editor, Jemimah Wright.

Watching her speak about Jesus and what he has done for her is so refreshing. She is not apologetic, or embarrassed about naming Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Instead she simply appears grateful for what he has done in her life. It reminded me of Romans 1:16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…”

Lola has a fifteen month older sister, Sami, 21 and the girls have discussed how different they are in an interview with People magazine, with Sami choosing to start an OnlyFans account so she could buy an apartment. They also have a younger adopted sister.

Lola’s life was shaped by her parents’ public lives, but she has often remained out of the spotlight, focusing instead on her education. She is currently studying journalism at Pepperdine University. She shared on her podcast @‌theheavenlybondedpodcast how her newfound Christian faith has become a cornerstone of her personal well-being, helping her deal with anxiety and the emotional challenges that come with her background.

“I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again. Until, I met not only my Saviour but my best friend, Jesus,“

“I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again. Until, I met not only my Saviour but my best friend, Jesus,“ she said. “Jesus really did find me, and that’s what changed me. He chose me first, and it was the first time someone chose me when I wasn’t the best version of myself.”

In the podcast, Lola shared how discovering Christianity has provided her with a sense of peace and grounding in the midst of personal struggles.

“Faith has been a real anchor for me,” Lola explained on her podcast. “I used to feel overwhelmed by everything—anxiety, the pressure of being in the public eye, not knowing who I was outside of all the labels people gave me. But finding God and embracing my Christian faith has brought a new sense of clarity. It’s like the weight of the world is no longer on my shoulders.”

“I’m still figuring things out,” she confessed. “But one thing that has really helped me is the reminder that I am loved and accepted, no matter what. I’m not defined by what people say or expect from me. I am who God says I am.”

Lola’s openness about how faith has helped her manage anxiety is a refreshing perspective in an era when mental health is at the forefront of many conversations, particularly among young people. She’s part of a growing movement where young celebrities are turning to their Christian beliefs for comfort and direction.

“Whenever I feel anxious or unsure, I pray,” she said. “I know it might sound simple, but there’s something incredibly peaceful about just laying it all down before God and trusting that he’s got it. He’s got me.”

Lola’s relationship with God has not only helped her cope with anxiety but also given her a renewed sense of purpose. She reflected on the idea of trusting in God’s plan and allowing herself to let go of control—something that has been especially difficult given her upbringing in a family with a turbulent public image.

“I used to try to control everything, to make sure I was always perfect in everyone’s eyes,” she admitted. “But now, I know I don’t have to do that. I just have to trust that God has a bigger plan for me, and that’s enough.”

Lola’s unapologetic boldness to share her faith serves as an encouragement for us to do the same. In her own words: “I’m just trying to walk in faith, and let God lead me wherever he wants me to go.”
